About this house rental
Unwind at this private, family-friendly country retreat—just a 9-minute walk to Lake Eugenia. With 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, there’s room for everyone to relax. Soak up the sun beside your own 30’ x 15’ private pool, settle into a hammock under towering maple trees, or gather for meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Whether you’re chasing adventure or pure relaxation, this cozy modernized cottage is your perfect home base.
The space
Our family cottage is open to guests for just a few weeks each year—and we’ve refreshed it top to bottom for a clean, comfortable stay. It’s designed for connection and calm, with thoughtful touches that make it feel like home.

2.5 bathrooms
Fully stocked kitchen for cooking or charcuterie nights
2 separate indoor living areas + outdoor deck, yard, and hammock
Private pool with loungers and solar cover (June to early Sept)
1.25 acres of landscaped privacy
EV charger (Type 2) available upon request
Full linens and towels provided
When you're ready to explore, you're steps from Lake Eugenia and minutes from Eugenia Falls, the Bruce Trail, and the heart of Beaver Valley. Paddle, hike, cycle, or simply eat and sip your way through local bakeries, breweries, wineries, and farm shops. Day trips to Thornbury, Collingwood, or Blue Mountain are all within easy reach.

You’ll have the entire cottage and property to yourself—including the pool and yard. The detached garage is not included.

We had a wonderful stay! This vacation home was the perfect getaway to connect and spend time with family. There is plenty of room to relax and visit with family both indoors and outside. Our dog especially enjoyed the fully fenced in yard to run and play freely. The kids absolutely loved the pool and we made great use of this feature during our stay. The vacation home was very clean and the property was well maintained. Additionally the host was very pleasant and responded quickly to any of our inquiries, prior to and during our stay.

We needed a space for adults of varying needs to converge, reconnect and rest - Chad and Liz's cottage was the right choice! A week was the perfect amount of time for us to quickly feel at home in the elegant country setting. Our hosts were readily responsive and check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. Every convenience and hospitality was in place to make it feel warm and inviting. It was clean and beautiful.
We enjoyed hiking, paddleboarding on Beaver River, playing pickleball (Flesherton), swimming, campfires, and lots of family time. There were spaces to play games and share meals inside and out. The dogs were very happy in the spacious fenced yard and walking The Bruce with us. We had ample space to enjoy our individual time and activities as well. It was charming to hear the occasional clip clop of Mennonite wagons being pulled down the street. The wi-fi and amenities were just like home, which helped with completing a couple of projects online while we were there.
Every window of the cottage provided a view of the surrounding greenery, as we were embraced in nature for a true slow down from our everyday bustle. The privacy and serenity of the property were exactly what we needed. The decor was delightful, and the description was accurate.
We scouted a fall fair and kite festival, and perused some local eateries. On the one rainy day, we enjoyed a fabulous day trip to Collingwood to enjoy their many art galleries and local food outlets. Thanks! Recharged :)
