Passionate wine lovers, bikers and hikers, Sylvie & Gilles welcome you to an authentic 1930s house carefully restored into a very comfortable holiday resort, quietly located on the edge of a small alley in the heart of a peaceful neighborhood. residential adjoining the nearby town centre. Privileged environment not far from the banks of the Saône, literally "cut off from the world" in an unusual & exotic setting. A real little "green setting" nestled close to shops & services as well as the historic & pedestrian heart of Chalon. Labeled "City of Art and History", the Burgundian city has a very rich heritage (half-timbered houses, towers and turrets, fortifications and bastions, Saint Vincent cathedral, former episcopal palace, Italian theater "the Piccolo", chapel of the Saint-Laurent island hospital…) & a level of cultural and leisure facilities of very high quality. Very comfortable apartment. Spacious & bright. Beautiful volumes. Warm contemporary character enhanced by the exotic atmosphere of an old residence. Lots of charm & character. Cozy & cozy. Large exposed private terrace, opening onto a pleasant enclosed, lawned & vegetated garden nestled at the back of the house (shared with the other gite in the house). Composition: Town house comprising two gites (totally independent, one opposite the other / common entrance from the alley, via a corridor leading to the 2 apartments). Wireless. Gas central heating. Ground floor: living room-kitchen-lounge, separate toilets. 1st floor: large landing mezzanine with office area, TV lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (double bed 160x200cm / 2 single beds 90x200cm bunk), bathroom (bathtub/Wc).
