We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in September at this cozy little place. We were 3 girlfriends looking for a quick getaway from San Diego. The rustic cabin is located just a few minutes drive from the heart of Idyllwild. The neighborhood is quiet and very quaint. The best feature about the house is the front porch, we enjoyed sitting out there with wine and cheese in the early evenings. The back patio area is also very nice. The kitchen is well stocked, with all the needed cookware, we even baked a pie on our first evening. It’s nice that they have spices, cooking oil, and coffee/tea as well. It’s a short walk to Alpaca Coffee house for morning specialty coffee drinks and also a short walk to Manzanita Cantina for great Mexican food. The bedrooms are roomy and bathrooms stocked with bodywash, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, etc. We lit the fireplace in the Living Room and played board games that were also provided. It’s like the owners really thought of everything. Once you receive the house rules, you’ll see just how detailed they are about making sure your stay has everything you need. The host messaged us to check in and make sure everything was ok. We did some shopping in town, did some nearby hiking at the Idyllwild Nature Center, did some wine tasting, and saw some live music. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Idyllwild experience.

What a beautiful, well-appointed home. It had everything we needed, plenty of space, lovely decor. The outdoor area was lovely with many fruit trees, games and places to sit and relax. Overall we had the perfect time and my father-in-law could not stop raving about how lovely the property was.

Loved the yard. Well secured and perfect for my small pup. House is very well equipped. This place looks like a well loved cabin that the owners might use often-which means it is very well stocked. Very thoughtful of the owner / manager to offer a late checkout when I did not ask for it. It is a plus if you like dogs..most of the decorations are portraits of pups!

Great place to stay. Beautiful porch and yard. Yard (both front and back) was completely enclosed giving the property a compound like feeling and allowed us to let our dog roam around without worrying about cars. The property was clean and well appointed with plenty of kitchen items. We truly enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Everything was perfect and just what we were looking for. Super clean and had everything and anything you could need to make it a smooth trip. The yard was perfect for our fur baby, she ran and played and enjoyed the out doors just as much as we did if not more. The girls loved the bunk beds and turned their room into a little adventure haven. It was a dream for anyone who enjoys cooking on vacation.The yard was spacious and peaceful—perfect for morning coffee or afternoon lounging—and the location couldn’t have been better. This home was exactly as advertised. Very clean & charming. Walking distance to the village & very quiet neighborhood, which was really nice. We had six adults & there was plenty of room for everyone & never felt crowded. Our 2 dogs had a blast running around & since it was a fully fenced yard, it was nice that we could let them out & not worry about them!!! We'll definitely be visiting this property again!!!!

I booked the cabin for a “girls weekend” with a friend. It was the perfect place to recharge and reconnect. The cabin is cozy and very well maintained. We had my friend’s small dogs and they loved exploring the front and back yard. I can only imagine it must be amazing to stay there in the he winter.

Meeting at your cabin was just what we needed. Two couples - (siblings) one from Lake Havasu and the other from Riverside. and two dogs. Although it was warmer than we thought it would be, it was cooler than at our homes. We had such a nice visit. The dogs loved explorin the safety of the enclosed yard. We talked, cooked, we sat out on the porch just catching up, and took turns in the porch swing. We watched TV and movies...just relaxed and had meaningful family time in the comfort of your lovely cabin. Thank you for hosting us. It was renewing!

We thought the house was charming. The kitchen was well-provisioned with nice appliances. The bathrooms were updated. Loved the fireplace, with all the wood already cut and provided (didn't try the wood-burning stove). The fenced yard was quite large enough for our dogs to run around freely and explore. And the location was nice - a short walk to the campground and various trails, and just down the road from the town. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family absolutely loved this property - especially our dog! We loved the cabin feel of this home with all the upgrades and amenities - it was super clean and well stocked with everything we could need. The family room is so cozy with the fireplace. The large, fenced yard was perfect for our boys and our dog to run around. It was close to town and walking distance to a trail that leads to Idlywild Park. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second time trying out a VRBO "new listing," and we had another great experience. It was clear Elizabeth was an experienced host, if new to this site. It was easy to find a ton of very positive reviews on another site by Googling the name of the property. The house was probably one of the best set ups we have had for traveling with our puppy. We especially liked the fully fenced in yard which allowed him to chase squirrels and birds and run inside and outside the house as much as he wanted. We like to cook when staying in rental houses and the kitchen had truly everything you would want for cooking, grilling, or even baking. We are also coffee people and usually travel with our own French press or pour over. I probably would leave them at home if booking this house again as there was an espresso machine and French press in addition to a standard coffee maker. Elizabeth had great communication, and I appreciated her offer of late check out. Everything was as described on the listing. Easy to drive to the center of town, nature center, hiking, etc. Only regret: my daughter saw a note in the guest log of a "secret room" left by another child her age. Despite looking, she never found it. We'll have to come back again to search it out!

we were cancelled by elizabeth because we inquired about the non- existent, yet advertised "spa", and then she added a charge for our service dog, after we had committed, and then refunded our payment and cancelled us- not a good person or a good representative of the fine standards of our past experiences with vrbo

The rental cabin is Top Notch. We travel and use VRBO 2x year. You could tell owner and cleaning crew care about their rental and their guests. Kitchen had everything you could need to cook meals. Dishware, etc was new and clean. King size bed (a plus) very comfortable. We do travel with own pillows. Location very convenient. Quiet area. If we come to this area again. We would rebook. Thank you Liz for being so wonderful to work with. The early check in offer was a big plus. Was a little warm that day and our pup was happy to get out
