About this house rental
Beautiful seaside cottage with a private garden in the heart of Cowes. Only a few mins walk from shops, restaurants, Red Jet Terminal, lots of local transport and of course the wonderful sailing facilities and marinas. A perfect base to explore the island and all our amazing beaches or just relax.
The interior is stunning with a log burner, plenty of seating, kitchen/family diner, bathroom with bath and shower, 3 beautiful bedrooms, all with luxury bedlinen and extremely comfortable mattresses.
The space
Wind Rose Cottage is 'dressed to impress' and guests staying with us will enjoy a marine-themed interior, high quality finishings with luxury furniture and decoration.
Through the front door guests enter our beautiful lounge with a log burning fireplace, stylish artwork and enough seating for all the family.
In the kitchen there is a large family dining table as well as ample surface area for preparing big feasts. The numerous cupboards and drawers provide lots of storage.
Upstairs there are three well-appointed bedrooms. A master bedroom featuring superking-size bed, a dressing table and closet to store your belongings. The second bedroom features a large Double bed with a large window letting in lots of light. Finally on the 2nd floor, there is a loft bedroom complete with 2 single beds and large windows.
In the garden you will find a lawned area with a BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy the best of British weather. It's completely enclosed so very safe for your dog to enjoy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wind Rose Cottage. The location was excellent—only about a four-minute walk to the city center, even at a leisurely pace. It made exploring the town incredibly easy while still being in a quiet, comfortable setting.The cottage was charming, spacious, and very welcoming. The bedrooms were large, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, giving everyone a great night's sleep. We appreciated being able to open the windows to let in a cool breeze, which made the cottage feel fresh and relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and having both a washer and dryer was a huge convenience during our travels. The bathroom included a nice bathtub, which was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt like a home away from home. It was clean, cozy, and full of character. We would happily stay here again and would recommend Wind Rose Cottage to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable place to stay within easy walking distance of the city center.My only concern: there were narrow steep steps to the bedrooms. This wouldn’t stop me from staying again.
