Guest house Aquarium in Monschau

The house is old and a bit "out of shape" but it is a gem! The decoration is something to see, really kitsch but we felt really good there, it is really inviting. The kitchen is small but there is everything you can need in it. You also have many fridges, what is really helpful if you have many guests. The garden is small but cozy. The baths are clean too. And it is in a quiet place, close to Monschau, that is really pretty.The owners were really friendly and helpful but you have to know that you will have to pay extra for every little favors. You have a fire bowl in the garden and they will provide you with wood if you pay for it (we did with no hesitation but you have to know it). We cleaned the house like it was asked on our arrival (vacuum cleaning, taking off the bed sheets and towels, cleaning the kitchen, the fire bowl). We were 20 people and everybody did their best. We had a party the night before but we kept the house clean. The owners asked us however to pay 50 (60 if they had to give us a bill) for extra cleaning because "it was not clean enough and they will need professional help". This seemed to be a bit exaggerating for us. As I asked what was still dirty or if I clean myself, the owner simply told me that it would be too long to show me all the places that still needed to be cleaned. I have to say, I didn't find it fair but I was on a rush and had to pay.
