Very nice, roomy house. Had been cleaned very well. Comfortable beds amd linens. The stairs to upstairs are steeper than usual. Just take your time and hold on to handrail. Home has a lot of charm that comes with an older house.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The backyard is huge and full of birds — we spent time on the deck each day listening to them and ended up spotting 8–10 different species. Our dogs were so comfortable here, and we loved how pet‑friendly the owner is. The provided couch cover was a thoughtful touch, and early check‑in was handled quickly and kindly.The house itself had everything we needed: excellent shower pressure, wonderfully thick towels, a very comfortable first‑floor bed, and good air conditioning and ceiling fans. We didn’t use the second floor at all. Crossroads IGA is close by and handy for basics, though it’s a smaller store with limited meat and produce.The only thing to note is that the road out front is fairly busy, and because the bedroom is at the front of the house, we did hear traffic while falling asleep. Our noise machine made it a non‑issue.All in all, this was a great place to stay while exploring Mammoth Cave, and a perfect spot for our two dogs to relax while we were out adventuring.
