Please have in mind that this the north woods. This condo is in the woods around a lot of Pine trees, so it could be a little messy outside from the pine needles some times, especially with bad weather.

No pet is allowed. This house never had any pets and the carpet is always clean, so please respect the rules. No fireworks!

We had a lovely month-long stay and were impressed with how thoughtfully prepared the home is. It had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen since we cooked most days. The furniture was very comfortable. The bikes were a real bonus, as we explored the area and the Bearskin Trail, which goes right into downtown Minocqua. We were close to shopping & restaurants but enjoyed the quiet that comes from being in the woods, where we were visited by deer every day. The owner quickly responded when we contacted her. We'll be back next summer!

The house was a good place to stay off of the beaten path. It was close to a lot of walking trails, and was a 5 minute drive into town.
Smells a lot like mothballs, but other than that we really enjoyed staying there.

It is as described on the site. Close to downtown and the zoo. We walked to the zoo as it is close. We parked at the park right by downtown making it is to just walk around the many shops. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there.

Overall, the unit was clean, easily accessible and located close to town, but the age of the property is showing and some improvements would really help. Most importantly, I would find a new product to use for dehumidifying the unit, the moth ball smell was intense and literally permeated our clothing. Aside from that, the shower faucet handle does not operate properly and the shower never got hot the entire time we were there. I would also have a repair man fix the toilet in the bathroom,it has very low flow and does not flush completely unless the handle is held down the entire time.
