Our family had been waiting ten years to take this special trip to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Staying at Sherry’s beautiful century-old family farm was the perfect place to rest and recharge after our busy days of exploring.Traveling with a large family (teens down to toddlers) can be exhausting, but the moment we arrived at “My Happy Place,” we knew we had found something special.The home is incredibly comfortable, peaceful, quiet and welcoming, making it the ideal retreat at the end of each day.Sherry is a gracious and thoughtful host who truly embodies genuine hospitality. Sharing her historic family farm with travelers is such a gift and it made our experience even more meaningful and memorable.If you are planning a visit to the area, look no further. Wow!!! My Happy Place was one of the best VRBO rentals I've had. Sherry, the host, was incredibly kind, organized and communicated well. She escorted us to the property (much appreciated - it might have been tough to find on our own), gave a thorough tour, helped unload the car and even provided a fresh loaf of bread. The place was extremely clean and well-supplied. I can't imagine a better experience.

Wonderful farm cottage nestled in beautiful rolling hills of KY. Very convenient to the Ark. Gracious hostess made for a delightful stay!Cottage well stocked and comfortable; would book again.
