I am not sure that there are words or photographs to fully capture this "vacation rental". It is so much more than a cottage. From the communication from the hosts, to the lovely welcome basket clearly curated with attention to details our family provided about our trip, to the home itself and the surrounding property - it is just really special all the way around. My two young children found the space magical - listening to records in the morning while watching the birds, the water and the little red squirrel was really special to them. I appreciated that it felt remote and quiet, but was in close proximity to everything we needed and everything we wanted to see. Another plus in our book is it's close proximity to Potawatomi State Park, which is worth a visit.

My husband and I stayed here for our 45th anniversary and it couldn't have been better. The cottage had everything we needed and then some. It's beautifully decorated and the view is spectacular. The hosts attention to detail is phenomenal. The location is great! It's close to everything Door County has to offer without all the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed listening to the old albums on the turntable and the fun welcome basket filled with local treats. Thank you Tom and Polly for sharing this gem with us. We hope to be back soon!
