The house itself was nice and very comfortable for 5 people to stay for 4 nights. It was conveniently located just 2 miles from family we were visiting in Lady Lake. The code lock worked well, as did all the electronics and appliances we used (just the basics required). As other guests have noted, there was a lot of paperwork and info required by The Villages' property manager (ReMax) to reserve the house, but their representative was very responsive to my calls and texts before and during our stay and helped me navigate the process.This could be a five star property, but we experienced a number of avoidable disappointments/annoyances while there. For instance, there was a mixup with The Villages recreation passes which resulted in us foregoing use of the pool, tennis and other facilities. Also, the management and cleaning crew failed to restock necessary consumable household supplies prior to our arrival (soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, garbage bags, etc.) so we had to supply our own on the spot, which was annoying and stressful. We've already reported these issues to ReMax, so I expect they will address them for future guests.
