"Casa de Valdemar" is a beautiful and charming property brimming with character, beautifully restored, and surrounded by 2.5 hectares of landscaped gardens.

The property consists of two buildings:
- The main house, featuring 8 spacious and exclusive rooms, all with private bathrooms. There are 7 bedrooms with twin beds—one of which includes a cot—and one with a double bed and a cot, accommodating a total of 16–18 people in the main house (no more than).

- The second building, a duplex house located between the main house and the pool, has four bedrooms, all en suite, each with a double bed and a single bed (accommodating 3 people each).
* Please note that you can rent the main house alone or the main house along with all or some of the duplex studios. If only the main house is rented, all studios will be closed. If you rent the main house and some of the studios, the rest will be closed. In other words, if your group has more than 16 or 18 people, you must rent one to four of these duplex studios, and you’ll only pay for the ones you use; the rate is 30€ per person per day, and payment is due at check-in. The remaining studios will be closed, as the property is for the exclusive use of guests.

The main house also features:
First floor:
1- Games/reading room, where you can play cards, chess, listen to music, or read the newspaper in the quiet of the room.
2. Spacious living room, with two sofas and chairs, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo, fireplace, and some books, with patio doors leading to an outdoor garden.
3. Five en-suite bedrooms

. Basement: The lower floor is open-plan with views over the valley.
1. Large dining room with a granite countertop, ample seating for everyone, and a patio door leading to an outdoor patio and BBQ area overlooking the valley, furnished with garden furniture—ideal for al fresco dining.
2. Spacious, fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, two large fridge/freezers, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and all the usual appliances and equipment.
3. Pantry and laundry room with washing machine, iron, and ironing board.
There are outdoor areas where clothes usually dry quickly; children’s clothes, shorts, and T-shirts are no problem.
There is also a ping-pong table and games in the living room by the pool.

This place is ideal for families with children, as it offers several safe activities: games, soccer, swimming, table tennis, and plenty of freedom for children to safely explore the surroundings.
Senior groups are also welcome, as the main house has an elevator.

All amenities are within walking distance. The small village (Longra) is 0.4 km away. In this village, we have restaurants, a bakery, cafes, a pharmacy, and a supermarket. The town of Felgueiras is 4 km away. There, you can find large supermarkets, shops, excellent restaurants, and more.
The setting is rural, although there are a few other properties nearby. However, the property is not overlooked by any other buildings.

There are several restaurants within a 5-km radius where you can enjoy the best of traditional regional and Portuguese cuisine at very reasonable prices. The local wine is absolutely fantastic. When ordering food, always split the portions, as they are enough for at least two people.
16 km from the property are the historic cities of Amarante and Guimarães, both recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
20 km away is the religious city of Braga.
Porto, the main city in northern Portugal, is 35 km away (25–30 minutes by highway).
The Douro Valley, home to the vineyards that produce “Port Wine,” is also 35 miles away.
The airport is 40 miles away.
Easy access to all these areas.
