There is no cell service on the property; however, wireless calling over our high-speed internet works perfectly, so you can stay connected when needed.
We have FAST wifi but we encourage you and your family to enjoy time together with the provided board games, game room, and YouTubeTV !
Your safety matters. This property has Blink cameras on the exterior part of the house, which will be turned on at all times but don't worry, they do not look into interior spaces.

This was an ideal summer escape! My husband and I spent a week exploring western Virginia, including Lexington, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Natural Bridge, Buchanan (for kayaking), Roanoke, and Smith Mountain Lake. The home is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes off Routes 11 and 81, next to Buffalo Creek, and close to the Maury and James rivers. Nearly every area drive featured a photo-worthy view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.The home is located on a sleepy, wooded road, with the creek just across the way. On quiet mornings, you can just hear the water flowing. The weather was delightful, and we enjoyed the sounds of nature while the windows were open.The home is very clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. It has three bedrooms (one I used for yoga and stretching), a cozy living room, a welcoming kitchen/dining area, an upstairs game room, and a laundry room with the largest washer and dryer I've ever seen. The laundry room also includes a work table for projects. We brought an additional work table from home to spread out a bit more. The inviting front porch is another one of the cabin's highlights.The best part of our rental was connecting with the owners. I never felt like we were navigating alone. Before our arrival, all of our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. During our stay and at check-out, our hosts were just as attentive and welcoming. You couldn't ask for more hospitable hosts.
