About this house rental
Entire cozy lake home on beautiful Lake Harding with stunning water views. Located directly across the lake from local favorite Backwaters at the Landing, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy lake life.
Enjoy morning coffee or evening sunsets from the spacious dock on a deep-water lot, fish from the shoreline, swim, kayak, paddle board, or simply take in the beautiful views. Gather with family and friends for large outdoor dinners at our 8-person deck dining table, cook a meal on one of our grills, enjoy a homemade pizza from the outdoor pizza oven, or bring everyone together inside around the dining table that seats 12 while enjoying the gorgeous lake scenery.
The property includes a gas grill, charcoal grill, outdoor pizza oven, Bōte paddle board, and kayaks for guests to enjoy during their stay.
The space
A cozy lakehouse located right on the water with plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy everything Lake Harding has to offer. The home is designed for gathering, with beautiful views, comfortable spaces, and room for family and friends.
When you enter the home, you’ll be greeted by gorgeous lake views from the spacious dining room, which seats 12 guests. The dining room also features barn doors that open to the onsite laundry area. From there, you’ll enter the open-concept family room and kitchen area with comfortable seating and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and dining essentials.
The leather couch converts into a comfortable queen-size bed, and the cloth couch can provide an additional sleeping option. A full bathroom is located just off the kitchen.
Up a few steps, you’ll find two bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature two king-size beds, and the bedroom on the right includes the second full bathroom.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and property, including the outdoor spaces, dock, kayaks, paddle board, and lake views.

Our lakehouse is a family-owned property, and we strive to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests. The home sits on beautiful Lake Harding and offers a peaceful setting for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, relaxing by the water, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Please note that the lakehouse is an older, well-loved home with lots of character. We continue to make updates and improvements while preserving the charm that makes this property special.

Cute little house with the best location and view of the lake. Privately owned, not rental company, which always makes a difference in the little things--like hand soap at each sink, extra towels (even beach towels) and kitchen cabinets full of things you might not think about but are already there. Great host. Thank you so much!

This home is a gem! Perfect location with a variety of capabilities. The owner has thoughtful designed the home to welcome any family , couple, or friend group. Beautiful views, well stocked home items, comfortable and high quality beds and pillows. The artwork in the house is aesthetically pleasing and the TV we thought was a painting! On the dock, swimming, fishing, very rare boat access. The fishing poles and supplies are on site. Paddle boards and kayaks available. It was the perfect stay for a great retreat and our family spent a ton of quality time together thanks to everything being well planned. The host was super responsive and thoughtful. We would stay here again.

The cottage had a very nice view and being able to sit on the boat deck was very enjoyable. The area is quiet and if you like to walk , that is possible. The weather was pleasant.
The listing showed a pattoon boat but a smaller boat was docked instead. Unfortunately it did not start for us.
A gas grill would be nice instead of the charcoal briquettes type. A few more bath towels would be needed if more people were there. A electric dishwasher would nice if it would fit. They just clean with a higher standard than hand washing.
The king size bed in the guest bedroom on the left as you enter has a sharp edge on the bottom right on the frame that cut the leg of one the the guest twice.
