Welcome to your unique o'zark retreat. This renovated & tastefully decorated home has everything you need for a comfortable vacation with family and friends. Your host, Shawna, goes above & beyond to provide an incredible 5 star experience every time. Enjoy our spacious private backyard new BAR with a firepit area & private hot tub to relax in Seasonal. We have added a full outdoor covered living area with 120 inch movie screen Floor to ceiling covered with fairy lights ivy and wisteria . Gypsy hanging lights off barn looking rafters, chandelier, L shaped sectional couch with gorgeous gas fire table with gold and rose gold shimmering stones for the ambience. Also another lower level covered outdoors so feel free to move a seat and prepare for an evening light show . Inside you will find things like a full 2 stand up arcade games and amazing little artifacts , crystals and unique pieces from many places all throughout the home. This wonderful home is over one hundred years old and restored original floors in most of the home . You can see the original construction of this exquisite home just by walking through and paying attention to the really nice doorways and entryways some doorknobs along with just little things that we dont see anymore. But this original charm and with the modern touches make her just beyond amazing and make you feel like you belong . The house makes you feel wanted as you enjoy her on vacation , work or just any reason you stay . Great flow of positivity and energy are shared . Minutes away from gorgeous swimming and cliffs to climb and jump into the water to cool off . Picnics , floating and family fun everywhere. We have many hidden local spots that are not over populated. Little paradise places in our quaint little town. A hop skip and a jump away from great food and some local shops . We absolutely loved our stay! The charm of this 100-year-old home was wonderful, and the interior has been beautifully updated and decorated to perfection. The owner communicated with us throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. The home and grounds were spotless, and she gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit and dine—every recommendation was spot on. The property is also very family-friendly, with toys and play structures in the yard. I only wish our grandchildren had been with us to enjoy it all! We will definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed at this wonderful home several times while visiting our teenage daughter who is staying at a treatment facility in Missouri, and every time it feels like a comforting hug. The layout is so unique and charming—it really gives off those “cabin in the woods” vibes while still being spacious and full of all the modern comforts you’d want. It’s immaculately clean, and the cozy eat-in kitchen is one of our favorite spots to gather for meals and conversation.There are plenty of bathrooms (a huge bonus when everyone’s getting ready at the same time!), and the beds are incredibly comfortable. It truly has a warm, homey feel that has meant so much to us during these emotional visits. Everything you need is there—from thoughtful amenities to the peaceful setting—and we’re so grateful to have found a place that makes our family time feel even more special.Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, coziness, and a place that feels like home the moment you walk in.

We enjoyed our time. We met my sister and husband from Nashville there (it was equal distant from our homes).
It was a good place to sit and talk, and enjoy each other. The beds are comfortable, and we found it was well equipped and stocked, although we did little cooking.
The laundry was in the basement, which was a bit of a challenge for our age (Late 70's).
I and "Alexa" did not get along well, but we managed to get around that issue (may be our age, again).
All in all, it was a good place to stay, and we would stay again.

There were several issues with the house. We were informed of some of the issues in advance, and were told they would not affect our stay. Those issues, along with the issues we were not informed of in advance, did in fact affect our stay greatly. The listing needs to be updated with the current layout (the basement area is not usable for multiple reasons).
