About this apartment hotel
Limetree is nestled on a secluded Caribbean beach at the southern end of the island, making this is an idyllic oceanside spot for couples and families. Free of crowds and commercialized tourist areas, you'll find this resort offers you many of the same on-site amenities and activities that are at the more frequented locations, but in a relaxing residential style environment. The surrounding area includes only a few private homes, and the beach is wide open and much less crowded than typical Caribbean hotspots, lending the resort an atmosphere of exclusivity. There's a free form pool with a swim-up bar, tennis, courts, fitness center and some of the best snorkeling you will do on the island; right on property.
If you prefer your St. Thomas vacation free of crowds, this resort is the best of both worlds — it’s tucked away with plenty to do on-site, but close to Charlotte Amalie and other island attractions.

The updated ocean view studios include a kitchen, balcony and bedroom space that can comfortably sleep 4 people. Traveling with family? Save money by utilizing the practical kitchen, defined dining space, utensils, typical kitchen necessities and a full or mini fridge. Self-serve laundry on property. Also enjoy free Wi-Fi across the resort.
+++Please know there are 3 separate units I'm able to reserve at this location. Studios, studio deluxes and Studio lofts. All have similar appointments but the lofts offer upper level bedroom privacy, but DO include stairs. I can not guarantee what unit will be available but IF you prefer a certain suite, please let me know and I will do my best to reserve the best unit for your needs or desires.
U.S. Virgin Islands government has imposed a fee of $25 per unit per night to be paid at check-in.
There is also a daily energy fee of $25 assessed onsite per unit
These 2 charges total $50 a day charge, which you'll find at nearly all St. Thomas resorts. It's an effort to recoup all the loss from recent hurricane damage. Thank you for supporting their efforts!
There is a $250 security deposit due at check- in.
The name provided when booking will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation will be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. The person responsible for checking into the condo needs to be 21 or over!! ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $99 CHANGE FEE.

This place is well built. We weathered the southern end of Hurricane Erin and never lost power, cable, or internet. Apartment was everything as advertised. Booking was very smooth. Beach was beautiful and calm pre-Erin. It was fun having drinks at the beach side bar as a "hurricane party" until they closed it up. Almost all employees were great.The only issue we had was with checking in. This is a time share, so do not let them trick you into anything. This is not the fault of the renter or VRBO. They said we needed to go see another dude to get our room key and wristband to prove we were guests. If this happens to you, just immediately tell them you want the key. Dude decided to mark up a map and tell us where we needed to go every day. Of course this includes visiting the other Wyndham property on east side of island. We were nice when we should have been rude. Just used to going along with it. Let them know up front that you rented from VRBO and hand the key over without a sales pitch.

My son and I have never been to St. Thomas so we are so glad we lucked out with picking the Limetree Resort. The maps don't do justice for first timers since you can be anywhere in under 15 minutes. The resort is located perfectly nestled in the South end. 10 minute drive or less East or West you can arrive in Redhook or Frenchman Bay avoiding all the crowds and retreat back to your private oasis. First off the communication between the resort, the owner, and myself was so detailed and we gotthe VIP treatment but they do that for all the guests! Mandi(owner) made sure weeks prior to our visit that every detail was secured and went above and beyond to inform us about excursions and the beaches which was huge. Limetree in meticulously well kept right on the beach with a beautiful pool. Our room was spacious with a separate loft which my son loved. Grocery stores nearby to stock the fridge and we made breakfast from the kitchen to have on our own balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Absolutely gorgeous.The staff couldn't have been nicer and they were so accommodating. Their newly built restaurant had the best food,service,and ambiance. We ended up eating there more than anywhere else. The grounds are so beautiful with awesome sunrise and sunsets. Perfect for family pictures. I've never been on a vacation where everything went so perfectly. So a special thanks to Mandi,the Staff, Limetree, and St. Thomas for an amazing vacation with lifelong unforgettable memories we cherish.
