Aurora apartment in Corfu Center

La posizione è senz'altro il maggior pregio di questo appartamento: si trova a 12 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione dei Green Bus ed è altrettanto vicino anche a quella dei City Bus. Abbiamo scelto questo appartamento principalmente per la posizione e questo aspetto non ci ha affatto delusi: avevamo potenzialmente l'intera isola facilmente raggiungibile coi mezzi pubblici!

Il continuo passaggio di aerei direttamente sopra l'appartamento in serata è stato fonte di disturbo, dato che il rombo dei motori era molto forte (al punto da far fatica a parlare con gli altri). Al di là di questo difetto (che non si può risolvere perché non dipende dall'host) l'appartamento presentava dei piccoli problemi potenzialmente risolvibili: - Le forchette non erano a sufficienza per tutti (ce n'erano 3 e noi eravamo in 4); - Il divano letto non era molto comodo; - Il bagno era chiuso e senza finestre per arieggiare. A parte il bagno (che sarebbe preferibile con una finestra) tutte le altre cose elencate sono piccolezze che, con un po' più di accortezza, farebbero sentire gli ospiti veramente benvenuti e apprezzati come a casa loro.

Location is good, city center is very close (7-8 minutes walking). Beautiful apartment, lots of space, with two pretty balconies. We had enough room to put bassinet and baby bouncer besides our stuff :) Hosts were very approachable and helpful.

Only tricky part was the building - it's old and doesn't have elevator, so we needed to leave the stroller on the ground floor. Also, it has very high steps in front so getting stroller in the building is a two-man-job 😄 It is not something that is up to hosts to handle of course, but I believe is important information for parents with little kids

Nice apartment with everything you would need. A good location a short walk from the old town. Owner communicated well throughout.

Parking is on the street and can be very difficult to find a spot. But I expect the same applies to most of these properties. There isn’t parking on site which you would think there is from the description.
