MIMPIMOON Langkawi

The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, handled quickly by the owner. My room was spacious, clean, and conveniently located next to the shared bathroom, making it easily accessible. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made relaxing easy. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which included all necessary utensils and a fridge.

My roommates from the room next door partied every night, which made it difficult to get proper rest, especially during the first five nights. Additionally, being next to the shared bathroom meant I could hear people showering and using the toilet, which was not very pleasant.

We stayed in the private room with shared bathroom and kitchen. Our stay was perfect, short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, laundry/mini mart at the end of the road. Facilities were excellent- best we have had, fridge, cooking facilities, water dispenser, tv, sofa, area to relax both inside and out. Bed was so comfy and room was very spacious. Owner is also the most friendly person ever. Would highly recommend

The place is incredibly cozy. A lot of plants and places to chill outdoors. Very clean and convenient. We never had to wait fo the shower. There is one shower for 2 rooms. Aircon worked well.

Speaking of chilling outdoors. There are people constantly chatting there. Up to 01:00 or 02:00 or later. Smoking cigarettes and the smoke came straight to our room. Not very pleasant if you can’t tolerate it.

The male volunteer from Kuala Lumpur is amazing, very helpful and kind. Basically had the apartment shared with another room to ourselves - only shared with one other couple for one night. The free bread, coffee and hot/cold water is very good. The other hostel people were very nice.

Paid an extra RM 16 per day so RM 50 for the 3 days as a cleaning fee. They never cleaned our apartment once, all the owner does is sit and smoke. The female owner is very rude, we locked the door once and got a sharp message about other people needed to enter (there was no need for it) She barely spoke to us, just shouts at you if you have your shoes on, which is fair enough, but we had shoes on in the area you were allowed shoes. One night someone kindly dropped off food from the night market for people to share, she took it all. THE BED IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!! It’s like sleeping on a rock The owners dog barks at everything, all hours of the night. She just leaves it outside chained up. The walls are so thin you wake up a lot !!
