We hebben vier hele fijne nachten gehad! We hadden een prachtige kamer, elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt en fijn om af en toe een duik in het zwembad te kunnen nemen. De omgeving is rustig, wij gingen om vrienden te bezoeken in de buurt, maar de eigenaren gaven ons ook leuke tips. We voelden ons bij aankomst ook erg welkom met een lekker drankje. Bedankt voor alle goede zorgen! Wij raden iedereen deze accommodatie aan!

What to say... when you stay in a gite or a bed & breakfast you always expect that the facilities will be clean and comfortable, that the owner/proprietor will be friendly, and that the food will be nicely done and more than adequate... However... there are all those others and then there is Les Ventes D'Anges. The house : is beautiful. An old house with thick stone walls but refurbished inside and excellently and tastefully decorated. A comfortable air throughout, and a very homely feel, whilst also feeling open and airy. Indeed - open, airy and beautiful are words to describe the house overall as well as the bedrooms, which are super comfortable with a lovely big bed and nice furniture. It would be hard not to be able to feel comfortable and settle in, just like it was your home. The food experience : breakfast will be in the very large and airy kitchen with a wide variety of excellently selected local produce, plus all sorts of treats made by the hosts and which are absolutely delicious. The range of food is also excellent. You can contact the property and arrange to have dinner as well with the hosts, and I would highly recommend that. Again the food is exquisite, and the hosts Martin and Carine are super friendly, and the care and love they put into the food, including the delicious home made produce, is clear, and a mark of their nature. Dinner may be outside if weather permits, but may be in the lounge/salon, both are lovely. The saltwater pool, at about 8m by 4m and 1m40 deep throughout is perfect. You can have a good swim or just laze, and the cover rolled up can provide some useful shade from a hot sun. The pool is also entirely surrounded, mostly by hedge, and so is protected from any wind that might be around, but also feels nicely private.

Everything was lovely - actually better than that. The one thing maybe to be aware of is that the property has no air conditioning. That said, Martin and Carine provided numerous fans for the bedrooms and also in the kitchen, which were enough to keep the worst of the heat at bay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful accommodation. From the moment we arrived, the lovely owners made us feel incredibly welcome – greeting us with drinks and a warm smile. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. The accommodation was stunning – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The peaceful setting and attention to detail made it a truly memorable place to stay. We loved it so much that we even asked the owners to show us around some properties for sale in the area! They kindly took the time to do that, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!
