The room is very clean and very well equipped with a little kitchenette. The amenities are comparable to those of a higher-category hotel and, even though the building is not easy to find, the host was very helpfull with the self check-in. The location is very central close to train station Almaty 2 and city center main roads but the neightboor is very quiet inside a big residencial compound.
The name "Astoria apartments" is misleading. In reality, it is a single apartment divided into tiny rooms. The living space is really too small for two people and their luggage, it’s difficult to move around and air out the room, and there’s no wardrobe, just a few hooks on the wall.

Very clean cozy place and accessible. All directions were provided by the host to access the property.m as we arrived quite late. All the necessities mentioned are available in the property. The location is very peaceful with parks to sit around and it’s a residential neighbourhood.
The studio seems a bit cramped for two people. For one person it is fine. That’s the only drawback. The host is very particular about checkout time as they have already put a person to clean the property who arrives really on time.

Assolutamente consigliato!
Niente!

The location is ok.. Access to the transport and shops.
The building is old. Entrance to the apartment is very old looking. Make confusion. Entrance photos not included. But the key instructions are perfect.
Bathroom make foul smell due to drainage pipe fault i guess.
Room was clean tidy.. But small. Good for only for sleeping and rest.
