A cozy experience with authentic Danish hygge style

Our stay at this farmhouse was truly enchanting. The open fields surrounding the property offer beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset, making each day feel special. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the exterior — original from 1880 — adds a unique historical charm to the place. A peaceful and welcoming retreat we would gladly return to.

The heating system is older and took a little while to warm up the entire house, but once it did, it worked excellently. The owner was very helpful and willing to assist with bleeding the system, which we really appreciated.

Kurztripp nach Hejls

Ein wunderschöner Ort. Viel Platz für 5 Personen. Auch der Parkplatz direkt am Haus ist sehr praktisch. Wir konnten zwar aufgrund des Wetters den Außenbereich nicht so viel nutzen. Aber er ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist freundlich und unkompliziert.

In der Küche können vielleicht ein paar Müslischalen ergänzt werden.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich, individuell und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Der charmant restaurierter Altbau mit großem Garten hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Unser Gastgeber Ole war sehr freundlich, gab uns tolle Insider - Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung und half uns schnell als wir eine kleine Havarie im Badezimmer hatten.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Durchgangsstraße, was mit kleinen Kindern ungünstig ist. Außerdem gab es im Spätsommer aufgrund der vielen Obstbäume viele Wespen im Garten.

Fazit: Nie wieder werde ich das Appartment buchen und ich kann es auch wirklich nicht empfehlen!

Tolle Lage, naturnah, Rad-Wanderwege unmittelbar hinter dem Haus. Nett hergerichteter Teilbereich eines alten Gutshauses o.ä. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sehr gut. Riesig großes Appartment, zwei Schlafzimmer weit auseinander. Wohnen und Essen großzügig mit Ausgang auf Terrasse und Gartenbereich. Gut ausgestattete Küche.

Absolutes No-Go: Massiver modriger, feuchter Gestank im Haus. Schon beim Öffnen der Haustür kommt dieser muffelige Geruch in die Nase. Leider auch nach langen Durchlüftungen mit Öffnen sämtlicher Fenster und Türen ändert sich hieran gar nichts. Sämtliche Kleidung, unsere Bettwäsche, Kissen etc. stanken so stark, dass alles in die Waschmaschine musste. Wir haben den Besitzern die Mitteilung gemacht und alles was als Antwort kam, war die Aussage, es sei ein altes Haus und die riechen eben manchmal. Außerdem hätten sie noch nie Beschwerden erhalten. Das ist leider an der Tatsache vorbei, denn beim Lesen älterer Bewertungen haben sich schon diverse Gäste beschwert, die wiederum vom Besitzer zu hören bekamen, dass jeweils vorherige Gäste leider nicht gelüftet hätten ... Ein altes Haus muss überhaupt nicht riechen und auch keinen Schimmel haben. In der Ausschreibung steht: In dieser Ferienwohnung werden Handtücher und Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt. Für mein Rechtsempfinden müsste da stehen: Gegen Gebühr, denn es kostet immerhin EUR 15/Person. Unmöglich, dass man die Information erst nach Buchung als Nachricht erhält. Auch andere Gäste hatten das schon moniert, Besitzer sagt lapidar: in Dänemark sei das so üblich. Auch das ist nicht richtig, ich bin oft genug unterwegs und erlebe es anders, auch in Hejls.

Heel fijn verblijf in mooie omgeving

Het huisje is ontzettend ruim en staat in een prachtige omgeving. De inrichting is gezellig en het huisje is van de meeste gemakken voorzien. Zo heeft het een goede keuken, mooie tuin en mogelijkheden tot bbqen. In de omgeving zijn veel leuke dingen te doen. Zo is Legoland een uurtje rijden en is de zee ook altijd dichtbij.

Beddengoed en handdoeken moeten apart worden betaald. Bedden moet je ook zelf opmaken. Dat was het enige minpuntje dat wij hadden.

Schönes idyllisches Domizil

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Stehen einen für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Das Haus verfügt über alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mitten in der Natur umgeben von Apfelbaum und Wiesen lädt es am Abend noch für einen Spaziergang ein. Wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus, was liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet ist. Im Haus sehr sauber und der Garten lädt auch zum verweilen ein.

Kleiner Kritikpunkt. Mich störten Spinnenweben außen an den Fensternrahmen beim öffnen der Fenster.
