Gîte de Beaugu

Le gîte est très beau, le travail de restauration a été fait avec goût. Tout était propres et prêt à l’usage. Nous avons été reçus avec courtoisie par l’hôte qui nous a donné beaucoup d’informations sur la région. Pour qui aime le calme et la tranquillité, c’est un endroit rêvé. Seules quelques vaches, un peu curieuses, sont à proximité dans leur enclos.

Nous n’avions pas prévu assez de temps pour y séjourner…

Très beau gîte, spacieux et bien équipé, dans une superbe nature.

Les moustiques. Heureusement, les fenêtres ont des moustiquaires.

We had the most peaceful ,relaxing holiday week at Gîte de Beagu even during the Heatwave of up to 40°. There is no Air Conditioning but there is a Dehumidifier which made the heat drier and definitely helped. The Proprietor was friendly and always on hand for any queries etc. The house is very old but well renovated, with some interesting features. The beds are comfortable and there is useful furniture in every room. The kitchen/diner is bigger than it looks in the photos! The good sized table/desk was much appreciated in the double bedroom. The shower is very good and the designer basin is an attractive feature. The washing machine is good as is the dishwasher, making light of daily chores. The fridge/freezer is new. We loved the Nespresso coffee machine and there were coffee pods, and all useful cleaning things. We were ideally placed for birding at the various étangs and learned a lot about breeding fish from Grégoire and La Maison de la Nature.

There is very little shade round the house, and the parasol is not very large.
