Everything about the spot was amazing

We liked everything, could do with small oven tray.

Andrew was an amazing host. Not only had he turned his wonderful heating system on.well before we got there so that the house was toasty, but everything in the house was of top quality. The views from the back of the house were amazing and I think in summer, it would be wonderful to sit out on the deck. In addition to all of this, Andrew was able to provide local advice re mechanics (my son's car was experiencing problems), and the house was also well situated to go in to eat in town. We are out one night at the local pub, and cooked for ourselves the second night. The kitchen was well appointed.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent location, good price for where it was, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. Gorgeous views of the harbor, and easy walking distance to the docks and restaurants. The electric blankets on the bed were an excellent addition.

The house was still quite cold even with the heater running (it was winter, but still - after a cold day out it was difficult to get warm). Drying clothes was especially difficult - the drying rack was partially broken and not particularly functional, and there was nowhere in the house to put it where clothes could get easily dry - some stuff was still damp after 2 days. I would suggest providing a dryer. There was no BBQ!!!

The view was amazing

No clothes dryer, no microwave, one wine glass. It had a washing machine but very difficult to dry clothes. Toaster in laundry cupboard was unusual. Very cold house even with heaters on.
