Nice apartment with no A/C, bad shower and strange requests from the host
The apartment was very well equipped, the kitchen had everything that was needed, and more, there was a parking space provided inside the gate of the building, a small terrace was nice for breakfast. Good bed in the bedroom.
The apartment does not have an A/C, and truthfully, it does not say it has one, but we expected that it was normal to have an A/C in such climate, so that was a shock, because it was extremely hot even though it was only late June. Therefore, we slept with opened terrace doors and we didn't lower the blinders to have more air, which made it very difficult to sleep because very close by is a huge water tank where frogs obviously live, and we had a loud concert till late in the night. Also, a street lamp is directly in front of the room, so it was terribly bright in the bedroom, and of course, the sun came up around 5:30 am...
The floor looked clean, but after walking barefoot, the soles of our feet were black.
The sofa bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
Also, the water pressure in the bathroom shower is unbelievably low, maybe the shower head is full of limescale, anyway, the water stream was very poor.
And, what surprised us the most was the request we received before leaving, and I quote: "I remind you that the rubbish must be taken away and that the kitchen utensils, if used, must be washed and placed in the appropriate spaces." Of course that we would wash the used dishes, but that we have to dry them and put them in cupboards before leaving? And I found especially strange the request to take away the trash, but didn't argue about it until I found out that the building doesn't have a trash can for mixed waste, only for recyclables! When asking where is the waste bin for mixed waste, I was instructed to drive the mixed waste to the waste collection center!!! After saying I don't plan on doing that the morning I am leaving the apartment, the host became quite aggressive and wrote that that is the law in Italy, and that violators will be sanctioned! So, we got to know the waste collection center in Sanremo :-D BTW, nobody asked us that in Milano or Genova where we stayed the weak before!

1. Тесная и узкая кухня, вдвоем не пройти;
2. Плохая посуда с царапинами и с вредным тефлоновым покрытием, в которой готовить опасно для жизни. На просьбу предоставить нам хотя бы одну стальную кастрюлю хозяин Юрий отмахнулся и уехал;
3. Очень жесткая вода: вся посуда после мытья в посудомойке в отвратительном белом налете и грязная. На вопрос, по какой причине такая вода, на которой невозможно готовить, хозяин Юрий ответил, что такая вода поставляется муниципалитетом Сан-Ремо, хотя во всех домах стоят фильтры для смягчения воды. Нам приходилось постоянно покупать воду для питья и приготовления пищи;
4. Старая сантехника. Кран на кухне просто отвалился;
5. Старые бабушкины одеяла, под которыми противно спать;
6. Нельзя одновременно пользоваться индукционной плитой и стиральной машиной или посудомойкой - сразу отключаются автоматы, так как мощности в квартире всего 3 киловатта.
