De villa bevond zich midden in een rustig dorp, wat ik als erg prettig heb ervaren. Ik heb enorm genoten van de rust en de omgeving. Ook het materiaal van het zwembad vond ik erg fijn. Volgens mij is de bodem gemaakt van PVC of een vergelijkbaar materiaal. Dit vond ik een groot pluspunt. Bij zwembaden met een betegelde bodem heb ik vaker meegemaakt dat tegels na verloop van tijd losraken of beschadigd raken, waardoor je je voeten of enkels kunt bezeren. Bij dit zwembad voelde de bodem juist comfortabel en veilig aan.
Er waren helaas wel vrij veel wespen, voornamelijk rondom het zwembad. Ze leken vooral af te komen op het opspattende water om te drinken en deden verder eigenlijk geen kwaad. De kinderen vonden de aanwezigheid van de wespen echter wat minder prettig. Tijdens het wegjagen van een wesp is mijn jongste helaas één keer gestoken.
