This is a cute, stylish, newly built apartment run by lovely people in a cool, interesting, pretty, little town. You can cook, there’s a supermarket around the corner. Takeda is a peaceful place but is vibrant and friendly. Highly recommend at least a couple of nights.
I really loved everything! I was perfectly fine with the stairs, just to note if access is an issue. The Japanese-style bed is firm but it was fine for me. (It is raised, not on the floor. )

We had such a lovely stay in a traditional apartment in Taketa. The host was lovely and thoughtful, which made the experience feel really special and authentic. A beautiful place with such warm hospitality.
