Award winning, Spring Cottage in Ventnor, Isle of Wight

Excellent central location very close to shops, restaurants, the beach and the bus stop; quiet residential street, comfortable place to stay. WiFi and streaming services were very good.

Nothing much but the shower room was a bit tight for space.

The location was very convenient with parking nearby in a paid car park. ( We offloaded our luggage parking briefly outside the cottage.) There is a code on the board at the car park which allows you to park in most car parks on the Island. It costs £10 daily. You need to download the Parkbyphone app which was easy. I then selected 3 days. The cottage had a friendly feel and everything you needed was there. It was very comfortable. We actually met the host on arrival who gave us more information and was very helpful. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. There are some good restaurants in the area and the seafront is very picturesque.

Nothing we didn’t like. Some people might prefer closer parking but it wasn’t a problem for us and there’s a big car park up the road. We paid £10 per day for a visitor’s permit which allowed us to park in any long stay car park on the island.

Le lieu était propre et exactement comme décrit sur les photos! Parfait pour 6 personnes . Idéalement situé dans la ville, avec des commerces à 2 min à pieds.

Il n’y a pas de machine à café, c est dommage! Attention la maison est sur 3 niveaux, pour les personnes âgés ou à mobilité réduite.
