Cleo’s Hut

My husband and I were looking for a place to chill and be on our own. When he showed me Cleos hut online, I was super excited. It looked perfect. We arrived late afternoon. The weather was gorgeous. We went off road ,down little country lanes with pretty thatches. We were told we could park in the owners carpack ,and then found our little hideaway ,a few hundreds yards down the lane. We had to go through a little thicket in the hedge,which was very cute. Our Shepherds hut was set up high in a massive field,that had just been cut. It immediately felt so peaceful and private. Upon entering we were greeted by a cosy well kept bed, a small kitchen /living space complete with a small wood burning stove and a cute bathroom. The whole hut was spotless. The outside space had a barbecue and eating area at one end and a sitting area with small hot tub at the other. It was so peaceful and certainly allowed us to relax. We were entertained every evening with pheasants coming out to peck at the newly cut field and small birds of prey flying above. We also had a little fawn visiting every evening, who seemed totally unfazed by us watching. We bumped into our host,Clare. She was so lovely and accommodating. She's lucky to live in such a beautiful spot. We'd definitely return. Absolutely loved everything about our experience in Cleos hut. 5☆

The only thing we thought may be of use was a small awning outside where you eat in summer ,because it was nearly too hot to eat outside . But just a small thing.

The location is superb, so quiet and peaceful

Loved Kenny’s hut last year so this year we came to Cleo’s hut live the wood fired hot tub but got it a bit too hot 🫠 either way it was a lovely weekend

Nothing at all

Secluded, had lovely finishing touches and was super comfy, warm and clean.

For £365 for two nights, we didn’t expect to have to pay for logs.
