The Gawdy Den with Fast WIFI 2 minutes from Downtown Houston!

Good location in quite area. Easy entry and off-street parking. Nice fenced outside area to sit.

Only very basic items supplied. Automatic indoor neon light very annoying.

1.Clean and equipped with laundry and drying facilities.2.Bus routes 20 and 80 are nearby and provide access to major areas.

The kitchen doesn't have scissors, which is a bit inconvenient.

Clean and nice

I liked the decor and the cabinets. There were cups available to us as well.

It was cheaply put together, wallpaper bubbling up on wall, baseboards were dirty, looks better in the picture and not the same picture then fence is white now brown, the beds were cheap and thin causing back pain, there were gnats and when told about them I was told there was bleach under the cabinet. That’s not my job. The lighting was not up to date or bright enough. Seemed like the temperature was controlled and turned off during certain times. Bathroom is super small and “couch” was stained with something. Blinds broken in the room I stayed in. The area around is gentrified and while we were safe it’s just a bit too raggedy around for my liking
