Palms of Destin 11109

My family absolutely loved the pool. We did have a small issue when we first arrived because the entry codes we were given were incorrect, which caused us to check in about an hour later than expected. After being bounced around through a few phone calls, we were able to get everything sorted out, and they were kind enough to make it up to us. Overall, I was very pleased with how clean, comfortable, and well-equipped the place was. There were a couple of minor things, such as some small stains on one of the couch pillows and the TV on the top bunk not working, but neither issue really affected our stay. Stuff happens! They also provided a great selection of supplies, including cleaning items and things that came in handy for beach trips. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here! I have sent this to a few people and if i do come back to Destin this place will be our go to.

The staff in the commons area at the property were really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The pool area was really nice. The location of the property is really good. I love being near all of the restaurants, the beach, and not too far from the shopping centers, and excursions.

The property itself is very outdated. The furniture is falling apart and it looks really run down. The ironing board was broken, the chairs at the kitchen table were barely hanging on, the curtains in the rooms had holes in them, the sun was shining in our faces in the bedroom at 6 in the morning. I’ve never stayed somewhere where the washer and dryer were actually in a closet in the bedroom. We called for maintenance to come on the first day because we dropped the air conditioner as low as it would go and it never dropped below 73 degrees and it was so hot we had to take the mattress off the bed to place it on the floor in the living room since there was a ceiling fan in there to at least make it a little more bearable for our children. Overall this would not be a place I would recommend to my family and friends.
