Villa La Cappella

Great house for a group rentals as almost every room has its own bathroom. The outdoor part is also great with an amazing view. We really enjoyed fully equipped kitchen.

The only thing missing is a functional pool. The one they do have is small, not really meant for swimming… other than that, everything else was great.

We stayed here with our 12-person family, and the property was simply perfect for us. The house is wonderfully designed for a large group – spacious enough that you could even get lost in it. The surroundings are beautiful, with breathtaking views of the hills and complete peace and quiet, as the property is set in the countryside with no neighbors around. The pool was available 24/7, which was a huge plus, and the on-site vineyard added a special charm to the place. The kitchen was excellently equipped – everything we needed was provided, allowing us to cook and prepare meals comfortably for the whole family. The house also had all necessary amenities, including towels, a laundry room, and a drying area, so we were never missing anything. Nearby, there was a small shop run by Niccolo, who also managed the property. He was extremely kind and helpful. As a welcome gift, he gave us two bottles of wine, and later, due to a special circumstance, he generously provided us with an additional set of his excellent wines – something we truly appreciated. The whole family was very happy with our stay, and we would love to come back again. The property is also a fantastic base for exploring the area, with Siena and Florence reachable within half an hour to an hour by car. We highly recommend this place!

Little bit hot in the rooms but it's summer in Italy 😀

It is an absolutely astonishing place to stay. this 800 years old villa is even more than I expected, situated on a beautiful hilltop, surrounded by history (check: San Galgano). I celebrated my 70th birthday together with children and grandchildren: four families, all had their own 'apartment' in this very spacious place. This is (luckily) not your average 5 star-hotel luxury, but a very well kept place with its own character, up to date. From pool and terrace you have a lovely view of the old (roofless) San Galgano Abbey. There are thousends of reasons to return!

Warning-with-a-smile: wifi is not that strong. Which is not a problem at all. The villa is a place for the real life, not the digital version of it.

A szállás maga volt a csoda! Mind elhelyezkedését, mind berendezését és felszereltségét tekintve felülmúlta elvárásainkat. A környék meseszerű, mintha egy film díszleteibe csöppentünk volna. Bár a szállás melletti Capella di San Galgano és szuvenír bolt turisták által is látogatott, ez semmiben nem zavarta meg nyugodt pihenésünket. A szobák és lakóterek berendezése kényelmes, otthonos, ugyanakkor olyan, mintha egy igazi kastélyban lennénk, a konyha felszereltsége és mérete pedig lehetővé tett sok baráti főzőcskézést, beszélgetést. Szinte minden szobához külön fürdőszoba tartozott, mindegyik rendezett, tiszta volt. A kert, a kilátás a San Galgano apátság romjaira, a környező dombokra-völgyekre békét és nyugalmat sugárzó, bár ugyanezen oknál fogva néha nehezen indultunk el betervezett úti céljaink felé. A szállástól pár perce található egy étkező/kávézó, de az apátság melletti szálláshely kávézóját is használhattuk külsősként, a közelben lévő városkákban pedig a napi étkezéshez szükséges alapanyagokat tudtuk könnyen beszerezni. Niccoló házigazdaként minden tekintetben nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt, és kérdés esetén is azonnal rendelkezésre állt. Az ott szerzett élményeink reméljük még sokáig kitartanak a hétköznapok során, és mindenkinek nagyon ajánljuk e helyet!

A wifi leginkább a földszinti router közelében volt elérhető, ami 8 fő esetében mókás helyzeteket tudott teremteni...
