House / Villa - TREMOLAT

Lovely place near the Dordogne River.The house is very complete. The only thing we missed was an airconditioning on the upper floor, as we encountered a heat wave during our stay. Fortunately the ground floor main room was nice and cool.

This house is charming and is well located for enjoying the Perigord. Tremolat has two great restaurants (one world class) and and good neighbourhood bar/café. The house has everything you’d want but as others have noticed, a bit less in the cupboards would help visitors stow their own kitchen stuff. I would have added one more star if there were garden furniture stuff such as parasols to cover the sitting out areas.

Typical French cottage on the banks of the river. Location couldn’t be better with direct access to a slow flowing deep part of the river and a 15 minute walk to the village. Also within easy driving distance of Sarlat, Bergerac and many beautiful villages. Gîte accommodation ideal for family group. Only limitation was the size of the kitchen and lack of food storage space. However, given the lovely weather this was not a problem as all meals could be eaten outside.

We have just returned from staying in this Beautiful cottage. There was 4 adults & 3 children (1,3 & 4). There was more than enough room in fact we never used 1 of the bedrooms for sleeping. We couldn’t of asked for more, the cottage itself is beautiful & the pictures don’t do the property justice at all. The children loved playing in the spacious garden and playing on the swings. Everything about the place was perfect from inside to outside to the location. Couldn’t be happier & when we return will 100% be rebooking Many thanks Jack & Family
