We slept SO well in these rooms. Completely quiet. Completely dark.
If you adventure and hike all day or plan to club till the wee hours, this is the place to get solid shut-eye in between. There are different units, so if you want the one that's *literally* underground, dark and impenetrable to noise, ask for the "Tholos" unit (which is also amazing from an architectural and historical standpoint.)
Also, the kitchen rocks (no pun intended) and was more functional than the kitchen in our apartment back home. Giorgos left some lovely treats for us, which was very kind and welcome. He's a good guy. It's clear he did a lot to preserve the history of the space while also making it very functional for guests.
Seriously, only the weather could've been better. It was sunny, but too cool to really enjoy the nifty patio table at the entrance to the unit. I bet in the spring and summer, it's a great place to have breakfast.

We're a little afraid to to type out our review, because we fear this gem of a place will be booked solid for the next years - and we really are planning on returning! :)
We loved our stay at Rethymno Dome Garden: It was easy to find, the communication beforehand and during our stay with Giorgos was super nice and the apartment had all we needed. It is beautifully done, super quiet and very comfortable. You can tell that Giorgos' concept really is very well thought through, he also put a lot of love into the details. We wish we would have stayed a little longer, but as written before: We will be back for sure!
