Beautiful location in the redwoods. Right on Ave of the Giants. We did a quick 4 mile hike at Richardson Grove SP that was very cool. It was wonderful to eat dinner on the deck. We had take out from down the road and was very good. Eating in a restaurant was completely unacceptable given the deck. Very clean-Including bathroom. Nicely equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again- we will be back (I grew up just north of here). The online description of the place didn’t really show the romantic charm of the place.

Located along, “The Ave of the Giants” , it was convenient easy on/off HWY 101. Miranda Mkt. , gas station and restaurants one mile north of cottage. Dark sky was great for stargazing. Well stocked kitchen with condiments appreciated . Bed linens were not laundered with perfumes.
Cottage located just above ours had a string of outdoor lights which diminished our stargazing. Lights also shown through East bedroom window with no curtains to block light.

Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped cottage. A super easy stop after our long drive. Food/groceries only a mile away and it was a short drive to all the redwood groves we wanted to see!
Some traffic noise as it is close to the 101.
