In the morning, pack your beach bag and walk the few 100 meters to here sandy beach at Saksild Bay. The mile-long beach invites many families to splash in the shallow water. For day trips, we recommend the city of Aarhus with a lively atmosphere, cozy cafes, good restaurants and several museums, such as the art museum ARoS or the charming open-air museum Den Gamle By.
