What truly special place to stay. From the wonderful welcome to the shared meal and opportunity to attend a service. It’s a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a great library and shared spaces, lots of friendly walkers and cyclists. Good room to store bikes. Excellent food. Comfortable beds. Lovely hot showers.

This Couvent is exceptional in every way. Staff are warm and hospitable, the room was enormous, the shower clean and comfortable and an amazing bed. Great views, beautiful views. A very special experience.

Magnificent and historic building in a beautiful village.
We messaged in advance that we were vegetarian and this was acknowledged. On checking in we were offered an omelette as an alternative to the set meal but at dinner time the dining room staff said there was no omelette option and we were given only the vegetables that accompanied the main course. My wife and I were horrified to find that the lentils we were given contained lardons (small bits of bacon). Total lack of consideration for us. If you are vegetarian or vegan do not stay here as they do not care at all.
