The cottage has a wonderful secluded location in the middle of nature and about 150 m from the Beständerhof, which houses among other things horses, sheep, chickens, geese, cats and rabbits and from the owner family in the 11th generation you are always welcome to visit the farm and participate in the life and work with the animals and nature. A very special place is our Waldbach camp in the middle of nature, where you can have fun and barbecue. In a few minutes walk you can reach the natural swimming pool, the ski lift, the ski slopes, the toboggan run, the adventure hiking trails, the mountain bike trails or even the center of Schonach with shopping and gastronomy as well as a beautiful park in the middle of the village. The largest cuckoo clock in the world and the highest waterfalls in Germany or the natural monument "Rainertonishof" are also only a few minutes away by car.
