If you fancy a little more action, you can take a day trip to Antwerp and admire real diamonds, for example. Or you can visit Grote Markt and its marvellous 16th century buildings. Or visit the Cathedral of Our Lady, which is the highest church in Belgium. Come and experience the feeling of space and peace that emanates from the huge nave of the cathedral. You can also admire some of the best works by the Antwerp artist Rubens.
