Even on the beautiful, short ferry journey to Aarø, you can sense that you are on your way to a little paradise. This well-kept holiday home offers you a spacious interior with a sophisticated arrangement of furnishings and decorations, creating a tasteful overall concept in which you will feel particularly at home. Cosy up with a good book in the living room or enjoy your breakfast in the sun on the open terrace.
Great bathing opportunities are not far away, and thanks to the size of the property, every place on the entire island is within walking distance. There are also shopping opportunities nearby, including many different specialities from the small Danish island in the farm shops. Visit the nearby Årø campsite, which has a mini zoo, or discover the neighbouring inn or café for a culinary treat. The Aarø winery also invites you to a relaxing evening where you can taste the locally grown wine or arrange a wine tasting. The nature is also unique, and a large, unspoilt area has been set aside as a bird reserve where you can take long walks. The ferry Helene docks at Aarø, which means you can take a wonderful trip across 12 kilometres of fjord to Haderslev. Haderslev is a charming old town with speciality shops, cultural events and museums.
