The little village of Ferrere d’Asti is situated in southern Piedmont, just a few kilometres from the main towns of the Langhe region. Winegrowing is a way of life here, inviting you to go for walks through the vineyards and visit various wineries. This warm and welcoming house is the ideal base from which to explore the area and sample the excellent wines and traditional Piedmontese dishes. Here, you can enjoy life to the full. In the village of Ferrere, you can admire Il Castelrosso, a large villa dating from 1780 that resembles a castle. The villa belonged to Emanuele Montalcini, the uncle of Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini, who spent much of her youth in this village.
