The beach at Helnæs Bay is close by, so a refreshing dip is also possible. There are good excursion and activity options in the surrounding area. The harbour in Falsled has a maritime atmosphere. Here you can watch the fishermen returning from the sea. Water sports equipment can be hired in Faldsled in the summer. The next largest town, Faaborg, has many sights to offer, including the Minibyen, the Faaborg Museum, a guided tour with the town watchman and a trip on the nostalgic train from Faaborg to Corinth (in summer). There is also a ferry service from Faaborg to the nearby islands.
