It is not far to the listed harbour and half a kilometre to a small pebble beach. 2 kilometres away is Svaneke, a showcase for modern gastronomy. Here you can have a delicious lunch and buy all kinds of treats from the confectionery factory, chocolate shop or Bülow liquorice, or order a Gammeldaws ice cream cone from one of the many ice cream parlours.
