On the upper floor you will find the open sleeping and play gallery with access to the covered loggia. This is ideal for enjoying the sunset. Germany's largest inland lake can be navigated by sports boat or sailing boat. The marina is directly adjacent to the park and offers around 400 berths for boats you have brought with you or hired on site. Explore nature by bike or on foot, there is also a canoe hire centre in the area. You can be active with water sports and beach volleyball or simply relax at the lido. The restaurant in the park is open depending on the season, and there are other restaurants approx. 2 km away. In terms of infrastructure, the harbour village is very well developed with its full-service marina, the Captains Inn restaurant, the Pirat's Bar and its own mini-market. There is no shortage of leisure activities. With around 400 berths in the marina, water sports are at the centre of the action. The harbour village has its own passenger boat jetty and its own stop for the national park bus and is located directly on the Müritz cycle route (112 km). In the surrounding area there is an aviation museum, a donkey farm, several castles and manor houses, a climbing forest and waterside waterskiing and kitesurfing routes. If the weather turns bad, there is a thermal spa with a water slide and saunas in Röbel, around 15 kilometres away. Thanks to the excellent location of the natural landscape with short distances to Waren, Rostock and Neustrelitz, nature lovers have a wide range of options for individual leisure activities.
