In the surrounding area there are many lakes for swimming and fishing. In Husgölen, Sillhövden, Bredasjön, Kroksjön and Skäravattnet the same fishing license is valid. If you rent the house, you have access to a rowing boat. The sea and the Blekinge archipelago are less than 30 km away. A trip on some of the archipelago boats is highly recommended. You will stay close to Dackeleden, where you can hike in beautiful nature. Also visit the farm store Askunga, which sells its own meat from game and beef.
