Worth a visit is the farmstead Åkrafjordtunet with a restaurant and a store selling local food. A short drive away is the spectacular Langfossen waterfall, which plunges 612 meters and has been named one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Visit the towns of Etne with stores and cafes and Skånevik with summer festivals. We also recommend a day trip to the Hardanger region with the barony of Rosendal, the nature experience museum Folgefonnsenteret and the popular rock Trolltunga. After an hour's drive you can reach the popular ski destination Røldal; from Røldal you can follow the Norwegian Landscape Route through fantastic natural environments to the Lysefjord.
