From the nearby harbour in Schlüttsiel (approx. 8 km) you can also reach the small Halligen islands of Hooge and Langeneß quickly and easily. Dagebüll is also ideally located for a day trip to Sylt, from neighbouring Niebüll (approx. 12 km) you can travel directly through to Westerland in just half an hour by train. Niebüll also offers a great cultural and leisure programme for young and old with various museums, an indoor swimming pool and a beautiful natural bathing area.
