Please note that the last 150 m before the house are uneven and therefore difficult to drive on. Interesting destinations are nearby: as Flensburg and Sønderborg are within reach. You can also go for a hike or a mountain bike tour on the Gendarmstien trail. Gendarmstien is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Denmark. The 84-kilometer coastal hiking trail is divided into four daily stages. Each stage winds along the shore of the fjord, offering a varied and sometimes hilly landscape. Along the trail you will have ample opportunity to see rare plants and animals as well as many interesting biotopes and landscapes ranging from orchids, frogs and birds to tunnel valleys, cliffs and stone reefs.
