Sjusjøvannet is the closest and further into the mountains you will find great fishing spots, for example at Åstaelven and Kroksjøen. Lillehammer is half an hour's drive away and is always worth a visit. The Hunderfossen family park offers experiences for the whole family, and at Maihaugen you can feel the touch of history. The ski slope runs right next to the house and extends into the fantastic trail network on Sjusjøen. The alpine slope is only a short drive away and there are slopes for the whole family. Sjusjøen Huskytours offers dog sledding almost every day, a fantastic way to experience the mountains. Kitesurfing at Kroksjøen is also recommended.
