During the renovation some original and characteristic elements have been preserved, such as the beautiful colored floors, the imposing marble staircase leading to the sleeping area, the 4 m high ceilings, the beautiful wooden beams, the original window fittings, the antique furniture typical of the place. The thick walls keep the heat out even during hot summer days. Guests have at their disposal a library with more than 2000 non-fiction and history books.
