Near Marielyst lies a 20 km long, child-friendly sandy beach and many offers for an eventful vacation. At Knuthenborg Safari Park you can experience wild animals up close from your car. We also recommend a visit to the Nykøbing Falster Medieval Center, where show workshops, a medieval store, a harbor and knight tournaments will take you back to times long past. Here is also the 'Folkeparken', a small zoo with about 90 species of animals. The cottage is an ideal vacation place all year round.
