The Little Red Riding Hood Region is also characterised by a large number of museums, which provide excellent insights into the history of the region and its many special features. Bad Hersfeld, just 15 kilometres away, is also a highly recommended excursion, welcoming visitors with its magnificent half-timbered old town and numerous spa, cultural and leisure facilities.
